Meet the cake artist

My Name is Erseline Principaal (my friends call me Ersy), and I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Aruba. I bring 14 years of baking and cake design experience to my work and take great pride and joy in making special events a little bit sweeter.

My interest in baking blossomed in high school at the young age of 13, thanks to my father. He is a master baker whose speciality is baking bread and traditional Caribbean confectioneries. His signature “Pan Sera” (traditional bread from Curaçao) and “Pan Dushi” (sweet bread) are legendary in Aruba.

Inspired by my father’s passion, I set out to deepen my skills and knowledge and become a professional baker. I obtained my diploma in confectionery and pastry arts in 2016 and have since achieved high level awards and recognition (including first place) at regional and national confectionery competitions.

Starting my own dessert business has been a huge blessing that’s opened the door to so much freedom, creativity, and joy. I genuinely love what I do, and it shows in my mouth-watering, eye-catching creations!
